Filipina Penpals Find Love At Melinda's Pen Pals
children together.  I would like to post some pictures of our children, but my gut tells me it is not a good idea.  Has life
always been easy since Melinda and I got married? Of course not.  But one thing is for sure, I have never second guessed
my decision to pursue a partnership with a Filipina pen pal.  Melinda has a heart of gold, and I know we will be together
forever.
Money and good looks did not win Melinda's heart.  It was something called sincerity.

When Melinda first became my Filipina penpal, I honestly did not
think we would ever meet. She was one of about a dozen Filipina
ladies I wrote to in the beginning.  Over the months that we
corresponded, my feeling for Melinda just kept getting stronger.  As
a result, my desire to write the other Filipina pen pals slowly faded.  
I was falling in love.  Still, there were a few obstacles that stood in
my way of meeting my special Filipina penpal.  My fear of flying,
reservations about going to a foreign country alone, and a very
serious cash flow problem.  I eventually got over my fears, and
ended up selling  my motorcycle for  $3000 to finance my trip.  I
charged my plane ticket on my credit card, stuck the cash from my
motorcycle in my pocket, and headed to the Philippines to meet my
Filipina penpal.  Below are just a handful of the images I saw on my
journey to the Philippines in 1998.  There are also some pictures of
our civil wedding, and even a few pictures of Melinda after she
arrived in the U.S.A. during 1999.  So much has happened since I
