Free v/s Pay Filipina Dating Sites

There is a lot of chatter on the Internet when it comes to Filipina Dating sites. Some folks prefer pay sites, while others will not pay to meet ladies online. Filipina ladies do not have to worry about the cost of online dating because in most cases they get a free membership. Filipinas can use both pay and free sites without any concern for paying membership fees. So is it better for a guy to break out the credit card or leave it in his wallet?

Most men are well aware of scammers that sign up on dating sites for one purpose. The purpose is to get guys from abroad to send them money. These include single ladies, married ladies, lady boys, and even men using fake profiles and pictures pretending to be women. How wide spread is this problem? Of course not all guys will send money, but a lot of them can and do send money in an attempt to gain a leg up on the competition (other guys). After spending too much time on pay sites, many guys start to believe sending money to Filipinas is actually a normal part of the dating process. If you are a western guy, and you believe this to be true, then the sites you frequent have distorted your view of normal Filipina ladies. Again, normal ladies from the Philippines have too much pride and dignity to ask guys on dating sites for money.

Free sites are generally run by smaller outfits, and often times they are started by Fil-West couples. Free sites have no incentive to tolerate the types of behaviors mentioned above. In fact, most free site operators despise scammers. They find this type of activity to be insulting to all of their hard work. Free sites often take extreme measures to prevent scammers from signing up in the first place. In our case we receive about 600 to 800 new registrations every month. Only about 200 of those are approved. It should be mentioned that not all of the rejected registrations are scammers. They have been deleted for various reasons which help protect the site. The result in a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for current members already on the site searching for love and friendship. So what is the down side to free Filipina dating sites? If your number one goal is to find an honest and loving Filipina for marriage then there is no down side. While there are no guarantees, your odds of finding a healthy relationship are better on a free site. The down side is that free sites might not have all the bells and whistles. This could be something like an advanced search function, or state of the art chat rooms. Also, many pay sites allow you to sign up in a matter of seconds. Pay sites know the attention span of many western guys is very limited so they make registering a 10 second process. The ultimate goal is to get your membership payment, and how you choose to present yourself is none of their concern. However, the lack of concern for decent profiles adds to the problems with pay sites. Finally, do not underestimate how Filipina ladies feel about trying to find a marriage partner. Filipinas are not oblivious to the stigma attached with using pay sites. Many quality ladies from the Philippines want no part of pay sites, even though they are not the ones being asked to pay. Remember, I said many "quality ladies" refuse to frequent pay sites. These tend to be Filipinas with stronger family values, more education, and more concern about where they find friends. Having said all of this, everyone has to make their own decisions about how they find love on the Internet. No matter what, do not let a few bad experiences on pay sites (or free sites) allow you to paint all Filipinas with the same brush. Most Filipinas, just like you and I, are decent people looking for love and happiness.
