The Reason Men Marry Foreign Brides
Here we go again. Another law pushed through by the feminazis which is clearly targeted at controlling men. In the mind of a feminist any man that wants to marry a foreign national must be a closet wife beater. So lets brand them all deviants and criminals until proven otherwise. The National Organization of Women (N.O.W.) has found a way to control your love life men. With help from Senator Cantwell from Washington State, they attached a law into the Violence Against Women Act which puts the screws on many men seeking love internationally.
Say hello to the International Marriage Broker Act of 2005. Better known as IMBRA. Wow, any law that regulates "Marriage Brokers" must be a good thing, right? MARRIAGE BROKER... MARRIAGE BROKER.. MARRIAGE BROKER.. say it enough times at it sounds like a woman being sold into slavery. Well hell, we got to regulate that! Marriage Broker sounds like it is one step away from Human Trafficking. Buying and selling children as sex slaves. My God the whole world has gone mad so we gotta shut these people down!!!!
Ok... calm down a minute. Let me tell you what the government's definition is of a "marriage broker". Would you be surprised to know that any webmaster FACILITATING COMMUNICATION between American men and foreign nationals is now a marriage broker? Oh, that is unless you do it for free. Hmmm... I thought making a profit was a good thing. Didn't I learn that in business school? So now a webmaster can spend 5 years in jail and be fined 20 thousand dollars for each time he allows communication between American men and foreign ladies. That is unless he turns over an incredible amount of personal information about the American to his potential date.
So does this law apply to all websites? Of course not silly. Match.com, Yahoo Personals, Eharmony and the other mega sites are exempt from the law. The law makers and feminist groups had no desire to battle thousands of lawyers and have their law laughed right out of court. So what they did was say ok mega dating sites, we are going to exempt you because international personals are not the majority of your business. It is ok that you have thousands and thousands of international personals. YOU HAVE SUPPORTED OUR CAUSE IN ORDER TO TAKE OVER THE FOREIGN DATING MARKET SO WE TRUST YOU.
I did manage to find one bright spot in the law. Illegal Mexican women in the United States should also be protected. What a relief, thanks IMBRA. If I want to be hooked up with an illegal alien through "Mexican Dating International" she will get to review my entire marital and criminal history before deciding on whether to talk with me. Too bad American women do not have the same rights. Oh well, just a small oversight in the law.
Now you have to wonder if there is anyone with the guts to challenge this law? Are there any men that feel this law is a violation of their free speech? Do you think it is reasonable to turn over your complete marital and criminal background to a lady you have never met before you say hi? Do you think it is fair to have your name run through a Public Sexual Register Website before you can email a lady? Do you think it is patriotic to be forced to tell a lady you have never met how many children you have and their ages? Do you feel comfortable telling a foreign national every State you have lived in since the age of 18? SAY HELLO TO IMBRA!!
I have no doubt that the end result of this law will be more foreign brides in this country. The thing about men is they are often hard to wake up, but once you piss them off they can go out of their way to prove a point. Tell a man he cannot do something and the end result is he wants to do it more. Trying to regulate his relationships is about the most obnoxious thing you can do. I have a feeling you are going to see a lot more Asian/American babies soon. They are the cutest kids too :)
Click Senator Cantwell is a Communist to visit our dating website which is now FREE so that you do not have to be strip searched to say hello to an Asian lady. The law makers and special interest groups under estimated the negative response to IMBRA, and I think the wheels are about ready to fall of this little experiment.
